I have loved Walt for 40 years.
The memories have been flowing on and off for the last couple of weeks of hearing about his health. Walt always filled the family gatherings, conversations and vacations with such joy and laughter. Even when he was very serious we still could find humor. He lifted up our spirits with his presence. One special trait that Walt had is he always enjoyed every person he met. He would carry on conversations with people he didn't know while he and Delores were shopping or out for breakfast. He was giving, hard working and a great family man. I have truly been blessed with being apart of his family.
Continued prayers to Vickie, Jeffrey, Leanne, Stevie and Nanette moving forward. May the memories give you warmth of Walts love.

So very sorry for the loss of Walter. One of the nicest, kindest men I have ever known. Always a smile and concern for other people! I’m sure him and your mom are enjoying a cold cocktail with Kenny and Sue in a much better place! Thinking of you all Laurie Stoner Featzka

Walt was that special kind of person that was genuine in his honesty and caring for others. I remember him as a formidable euchre opponent who always forgave my forgetfulness and less than stellar play. He was the same on the golf course. He was steady, not spectacular, and usually finishing first in a foursome. I saw him as a caring husband, father and grandfather, and a great friend. Rest in peace, Wally...

Walt will be missed by all who knew him. he was my favorite neighbor while growing up! Walt always had time for the kids in the neighborhood, fixing bikes, breaking up fights, piling us all in the car, as many as would fit including the trunk, and taking us to the drive-in on hot summer nights to give our mothers a break lol. Many prayers for Walt and his family and love to all especially my BFF aka my childhood partner in crime xox

I remember when I was little going to Uncle Walt's and Aunt Delores' house on a few Sundays with Gram, Barb and Grandma Judy. I can remember at least one time swimming in a pool and watching fireworks at there house.
As I grew older we usually only saw each other once or twice a year. Celebrating Gram's Birthdays and maybe at Christmas. I don't think he ever got my name right. He always called me by my mom's name "Sally".
Walt was truly a very kind hearted person. I will always remember him as the person who allowed Mark and I to stay at Aunt Fran's house after Mark's accident. Even though he was extended family he was there for us. He will be missed.
