Wayne K. Becker passed away at Manor of Perrysburg Thursday afternoon. He was born on January 11, 1929 in Toledo, OH to Burdette and Mildred (Lydey) Becker. Wayne attended Woodward High School and the University of Toledo. A Veteran of the US Marine Corps, he worked numerous jobs and retired as an auditor from the State of Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation. He was an avid golfer, and a member of the Toledo Flying Tigers RC Model Club. Wayne always had a story to tell, whether work, golf, or airplanes. His memory at 92 was impeccable.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. (Raymond) Becker in 2014, whom he cared for in his home for over 10 years during her struggle with Alzheimer's. He was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Burdette; son-in-law, Thomas Wood; and grandson, David M. Rybka. Left to cherish his memory are his four children, Wayne D. Becker (Kathy), Sharon A. Wood, Diane S. Rybka (David E.), and Gregg R. Becker (Linda); and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 8 from 2-7 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, September 9 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment with Military Honors led by the VFW 606 Burial Corps will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
