Wilbur Stanford Obituary
Wilbur G. Stanford, Jr., loving husband and father, passed away on December 16, 2020, at the age of 79.
Wilbur was born on December 3, 1941, in Cadillac, Michigan, to Wilbur Sr. and Leona (Sarver) Stanford. He married his wife, Patricia DelBrocco, August 12, 1961.
After serving his apprenticeship with the Local 50 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Wilbur became a Master Plumber. He was a self-employed plumbing contractor before purchasing H.A. Stanford & Sons Plumbing and Heating in Perrysburg from his father.
Wilbur cherished spending time with his family, especially at their Lake Nettie cabin in Michigan where he enjoyed fishing. He was also an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan. Wilbur's sense of humor will be missed as he loved sharing stories with his friends and family. He was extremely proud of his six grandchildren.
Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dixie Miller; brother, James Stanford and wife Patricia. He is survived by his children, Steve (Paula) Stanford, Lisa (Mike) Gramza, Chris (Tracie) Stanford; sisters, Joyce (Eric) Hallenbeck and Linda (Paul) Wortman; and grandchildren, Meredith, Brittany, Brody, Kristin, Ben and Alexa.
