William Corrigan Obituary
William Jacob "Jake" Corrigan, 38, of Ashland, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023, at his residence. He was born on August 18, 1985, in Toledo, OH, to Kevin Michael Corrigan and Michelle Louise Conklin. Jake was a 2004 graduate of Wooster High School and attended the University of Toledo. To know Jake was to love him. His heart had an endless capacity to love those around him. He treated everyone, even strangers, like family and wouldn't hesitate to disrupt his own schedule to help someone in need. His kind, gentle spirit and incredible sense of humor brought light and laughter to every situation. His loving and personable nature led to excellence in a variety of jobs throughout his life including furniture sales and production associate at Campbell's. Jake enjoyed time on the water, fishing on his boat and spending time with family and his beloved basset hound, Samuel L. Chompson.
Surviving is his mother and step father, Mickie and Dale Schenian of Wooster; step father, Stephen R. Wright; sisters, Sarah (Kyle) Sawyer of Toledo, Aja (Aaron) Carver of Wooster, Tori (John) McLaughlin of Smithville, and Mariah (Matt) Kopina of Burbank; step siblings, Sydnee, Devin and Hunter and their mother, Shannon Eggerton; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Raymond and Eleanor Corrigan, Duane and Marilyn Conklin and William and Philomena Wright.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Wayne County Humane Society, 1161 Mechanicsburg Rd, Wooster, OH 44691 and Southside Community Church, 715 Heyl Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
