William Dunmead Obituary
June 30, 1948 - May 27, 2024
William "Bill" Dunmead Jr., age 75, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on May 27, 2024. He was born on June 30, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio. William had a successful career in the automotive industry, working at Ford Motor Company, Exel Global Logistics, and Novamex. He enjoyed living in Mexico, Argentina, England, and the U.S. throughout his career.
In his personal life, William is survived by his wife, Peggy Dunmead; daughters, Carrie Belaski and Andrea Downing; his five grandchildren, Parker, Sydney, Brennan, Beckham, and Brooke; his sister Cathy Underwood; and his brother David Dunmead. He was preceded in death by his son, Bradley Dunmead; brother Jim Dunmead, mother Joan Dunmead, and father William Dunmead.
William graduated from Start High School in 1966 and later earned a BS in Finance from Bowling Green State University in 1970. Outside of work, he enjoyed watching college basketball and he loved anything related to trivia.
A memorial service in honor of William will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Pinnacle Peak Mortuary in Scottsdale, Arizona. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will take place at Paradise Memorial Gardens, Scottsdale, Arizona at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Boys Town (https://www.boystown.org/) or the Wounded Warrior Project (https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/). William will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Sorry to hear about Bill´s passing. We were high school basketball teammates at Start. We hung out and spent many hours cruising in Bill´s 1951 black ford flathead six with 3 on the tree. RIP
