David Frascella Obituary

YARDLEY, PA.
David W. Frascella, Sr., 76, of Yardley, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Jefferson Bucks Hospital, Falls Township, PA.
Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong Mercer County, NJ and Bucks County, PA resident.
Mr. Frascella started his entrepreneurial path at age 19 when he purchased Marrazzo's Center Fruit Market on Center Street, Trenton and renamed the business to Dave's Center Fruit Market, operating it from 1968 until 1995. Later in his career Dave was one of the first to open and operate a check cashing business in Philadelphia, PA which he ran for more than 25 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the Jersey shore, and taking trips to Atlantic City and Parx Casino.
Dave lived a full life and loved to laugh and make people laugh. Anyone that knew Dave, loved him. He will be missed by all.
Predeceased by his parents, Domenico and Muriel Turner Frascella, and his brother, Lawrence Frascella; he is survived by his children, David W. Frascella, Jr. and his wife Dana, Larry Frascella and his wife Tina, Domenic Frascella and his wife Jodi, Rosie Frascella and her partner, Christina Hilo, Annine Williams and her husband Joseph, and Gianna Simmers and her husband James; his grandchildren, Joseph, Sofia, Bobby, Carol, Donovan, Delaney, Daimian Frascella, Niki Malaya and Crisanto Frascella-Hilo, Nino and Gianni Williams, and Giacomo Simmers; and many other relatives and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church, 343 South Broad Street, Trenton.
Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
Calling hours for family and friends will be Wednesday, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105. www.stjude.org.
