Mother Ethel M. Williams

Mother Ethel M. Williams, 91, departed this life for her heavenly home on February 7, 2023. Born and educated in Roanoke Rapids, NC, after graduation, she migrated to Trenton, N.J and pursued work with S.S Kresge and S.P Dunham's Department Stores, retiring after many years of devoted service. Mother Williams was a devoted member of the Beauty Grove Primitive Baptist Church for over 66 years, where she served in various capacities. Predeceased by her parents, Deacon William H. Jones Sr. and Mother Eunice Jones; siblings, William H. Jones Jr., Willie F. Jones Sr., Marvin D, Jones, Annie L. Dowtin; grandsons, Corey L. Myers, Farrell Little, Maurice Morgan; great grandson, Aiden Little; and goddaughter, Marin Lewis. Mother Williams leaves to cherish precious memories her husband of over 66 years, Deacon Noah R. Williams Sr.; children, Sharon F. Little (Menjou) of High Point, NC, Pastor Noah R. Williams Jr. (Margaret) of Willingboro, NJ, Judah Divine Williams (Felecia) of Hamilton Twp., NJ, and Cheryl Morgan (Richard) of Roebling, NJ; 16 grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; brother, Charles L. Jones of Ewing Twp., NJ; sisters, Laura Putney and Dora Garner of Roanoke Rapids, NC; goddaughter, Jeannie Berry; and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 11 am at Beauty Grove Primitive Baptist Church, 66 Race St., Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 9 to 11 am at the church. Interment will be in Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Arrangements: Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
