Viola Thomas Randolph

PRINCETON - Mrs. Viola Thomas Randolph, age 85, passed away April 7, 2014, at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.
Born in Great Falls, S.C., she lived in Princeton for more than 50 years. She was educated in the Great Falls public school system. Mrs. Randolph was a homemaker and housekeeper for many of the prominent families in Princeton. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah A.M.E. Church of Princeton where she was a member of the Usher Board, the Nurses Unit, Pastor's Aid, and the Scholarship Committee. She was a special caregiver to her mother and other members in the community. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Thomas, husband, Robert E. Randolph, sister-in-law, Mary Clark and her brother-in-law, Donald Randolph. Mrs. Randolph is survived by a cousin, Willie B. Douglas, a niece, Lorraine Duffy and other cousins and friends. Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Mt. Pisgah A.M.E. Church, 170 Witherspoon St., Princeton. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. until time of services at the church. Interment Princeton Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
