Leona Rishell Obituary
Born June 29, 1936, in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Ella Mae (Snyder) Shaffer.
On Oct. 16, 1955, she married Raymond B. Rishell in DuBois. He preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 2007.
Leona graduated from Sandy High School and was a homemaker. She was last employed at Bailey's Drive-In. Leona was a member of Bethany Covenant Church, where she was very active in church functions. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
She is survived by two children, David R. (Crystal) Rishell of DuBois and Marlene (Mark) McManigle of Brookville; three grandchildren, Shaina Brocious, and Paige and Padon Rishell; two great-grandchildren, Grant and Joseph Brocious; three siblings, Kay (John) Heberling of Falls Creek, Jan Seyler of Luthersburg, and Raymond (Marilyn) Shaffer of DuBois, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received Sunday, Dec. 17, from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Monday, Dec. 18, from 10-11 a.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc., DuBois. A funeral service will follow Monday's visitation at the funeral chapel at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Donald Ostrom officiating. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Bethany Covenant Church, 26 E. Long Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.

Heaven has received another Angel. Leona will always be remembered, she was a wonderful lady. Sending Prayers for the family, just remembered Nonie will be having Christmas with Jesus this year.
