Dear friend! You were the most competitive and focused athletes I played with or against in so many different sports. From basketball, baseball and tennis. Yep, tennis!
I think it all started when your mom took us to the city park and showed us the basics of tennis.
The focus, the foot work and determination was useful in baseball when we were in Little League and worked our way to Portland and close to going to the World Series. Your basketball team won 47 straight games!
But it wasn´t all sports. How can we forget the trip to San Francisco right after we graduated from high school. Traveling in Mickey´s old volts-wagon Bug. Four of us going over Donner Pass and staying a couple of weeks with your brother, Jerry and Donna, before we found an apartment we could afford.
I could go on, but know we loved you and so sorry we lost touch.
Blessings to you, Pat and your family.

Tony was a huge part of the Petsch household growing up. He and my brother Jack played baseball together ever since I can remember. He caught balls in our front yard as Dad hit to them - I can still hear that sound of that bat. Being the little sister, not many of the "sports brothers" paid me much attention. However, Tony always did and called me "Kay". My mom used to chuckle that on Fridays AFTER eating one of her delicious burgers, Tony then remembered that he was supposed to have fish that day. Tony was definitely a bright spot to my childhood as our family traveled to baseball games throughout WY and even Washington for Little League. As the little sister, basketball (Termite and Midget leagues) at the mission was usual, too. So many nice memories.

God Bless you all with the knowledge that he is in a good place .
