Margaret Bramson Obituary
October 30, 1936 - January 27, 2026
Peg Jensen was born October 30, 1936 in Kearney, Nebraska, where she attended school through the 12th grade. She worked as a long distance telephone operator for the Bell Telephone Co. for several years to earn her college money.
She received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Music from Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho and had been in the first traveling Madrigal Group in 1959 prior to marrying Neil Bramson, that same year. She served as Northwest Rocky Mountain area Nazarene University Alumni Board Director of this area for 11 years.
She taught grade school in Nampa and Boise, Idaho prior to coming to Casper where she and Neil have resided since 1961. She was employed 37 years with the Natrona County School System as a teacher and Educational Diagnostician for Special Education Services after receiving her Master's degree in Special Education from the University of Wyoming in 1974.
She was a member of the Nazarene Church in Casper and enjoyed being the church organist for 56 years, directing choirs and cantatas and singing for services there. She was an active member of Christian Women's Club, PEO and Delta Kappa Gamma. Peg was honored by Casper Business and Professional Women as being "Musician of the Year!"
Other hobbies and enjoyments included being a Hospice volunteer, teaching Women's Bible Study, reading and book club, Chairman of Christian Women's Club, and knitting for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.R. Jensen; and her brother, Gary Jensen, of Kearney, Neb.
Survivors include husband, Neil; son, Greg (Terri) of College Station, Texas; daughter, Laurie (Douglas) Price of Tulsa, Okla.; grandchildren, Kirby Bramson of Austin, Texas; Taner (Christian) of College Station, Texas; Blair (Carley) Price of Pecan Gap, Texas; greatgrandchildren, Cohen Price; Cohen Neal; Lochlan Neal; and a great number of cousins, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and their families.
A Celebration of Life was held Monday, February 2, 2026 at First Church of the Nazarene, 2020 S Jefferson St, Casper, WY 82601.
