To the entire Simon family. My deepest sympathy. It's quite a shock when someone you've known through grade school, highschool and college dies. Though we'd been out of regular touch since I relocated to South Florida in 1983, we often exchanged holiday greetings. The saddest thing of all is Benjie's passing is a personal reminder that we're not kids anymore and just how fleeting life can be. Ben was only a year younger than me. I'll always have nothing but fond memories of this man. May his memory be a blessing.

Mensch. There are not enough words to describe the genuine and kind heart Ben had. He was so good to me and my family. Joanne, Mark, Zach, and family, my heartfelt sympathy on your loss. I am so sorry.

I worked with Ben for 14 years. He was not just a manager but a leader and mentor. I almost never saw him get angry, his demeanor was always calm and welcoming. Ben will be missed by all who knew him, he truly lived a life we should all strive for. Rest in peace Ben.

Joanne and Family,
I was saddened to learn of Ben’s passing. My affiliation with Ben was as an employee of Gordon Shoes from 1990-1993. I do remember that Ben was a man of passion, who was always on the move, making sure that the customers were treated with respect. He valued each and every employee and customer that walked through the doors. Oh how I remember our Saturday morning meetings, which was a question and answer session, they had purpose for Ben as a tool of reinforcing teamwork. Ben was always congenial to everyone he met. My deepest Sympathy. ☮❤
