Burial will follow for family only. Invite-only luncheon preceding the burial. Arrangements entrusted to Burket-Truby Funeral Home. Casey was born in Pittsburgh to Donna Egan and Thomas Clontz Aug. 27, 1984. He attended Gateway Junior and Senior High School, which is where he first met the love of his life, Jen. Casey always knew he would marry Jen. In fact, when in school, Casey often told his family and friends "the only person I'll ever marry is Jen Hohman." On July 3, 2009, in Oakmont, Casey married his junior high love, Jen Hohman Clontz. Casey and Jen were blessed with two beautiful children, Keegan and Addie. A true yinzer, Casey was a Pittsburgh sports fan through and through. He supported his team daily with a Steelers charm on his necklace that never left his neck and a Steelers tattoo on his leg. His man cave is filled floor-to-ceiling with Pittsburgh memorabilia. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loving the football and hunting seasons spent with his son, Keegan; his father, Tom; and brother, Nick. During Steelers football games, everyone knew not to call or text Casey. If he wanted to talk to you he would call after the game. If you were the lucky one to get the call you knew you were about to get an ear full, win or lose. When Casey was not watching his beloved Steelers or working for People's Gas (10-plus years) as a fitter/leader, he was talking to his father Tom and friends about hunting, fishing and football. Casey was a social butterfly. All the football moms and dads knew Casey. He could always be found chatting with them before and after Keegan's games and practices. However, during Keegan's games Casey would be cheering Keegan on with fierce focus, so much so that he couldn't sit down to watch. When not supporting Keegan on the field or fulfilling Addie's whims, Casey loved "supervising" his friends' handiwork, especially his neighbor, Kevin. Casey and Kevin were often helping one another out around each other's house. However, the harder Kevin and those around him worked, the happier Casey was to supervise. Summer was lake season for the Clontz family. Casey cherished spending his mornings fishing with his cousin, and porch hopping in the evenings with his lake family. Casey is preceded in death by Gram and Pap Rittmeyer; Grandma and PopPop Clontz; Uncle Carl; and Aunt Becky. Casey is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer "Jen;" and daughter, Addilyn "Addie;" his loving mother, Donna Egan, and stepfather Jim Egan; father, Thomas Clontz and stepmother, Kathryn Clontz; twin sister, Rachel Clontz and baby sister, Ashley Clontz; beloved brother, Nick Davis (Kara); stepbrothers, Jim Egan (Lisa) and John Egan (Jenn); nephews, Chase Clontz, Tyler Egan, Cody Egan and Legend Davis; niece, Layla Davis; aunts, uncles, cousins and many other loved ones. Pallbearers for the memorial will be Thomas Clontz, Nick Davis, Timmy McNally, Jim Egan, Carl Rittmeyer and Mike Lape. The family strongly suggests in lieu of sending flowers to the funeral home.
