June McIlnay Obituary

June E. (Terry) McIlnay, 88, of Youngstown, passed away on Monday, Aug. 12, 2024, at Ligonier Gardens. Born June 24, 1936, in Wellingborough, England, she was a daughter of the late Stanley John and Florence Rose (Lodge) Terry. June was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Latrobe. Prior to her retirement, she was a cafeteria worker at the Greater Latrobe Senior High School. She enjoyed knitting. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James J. McIlnay; and two sisters, Molly Pratt and Maureen McCabe. June is survived by one son, James S. McIlnay, and his wife Tracy, of Darlington; one daughter, Tracy L. Skidmore of Florida; one brother, John Terry, and his wife Maureen, of England; four grandchildren, Anthony Lamb, Eimile McIlnay Carlisle, Cannon McIlnay, and John Carr McIlnay; one great-great-grandson, Landon Lamb; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitations. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Latrobe, with the Rev. William Schaefer officiating. Interment is private. Arrangements are being handled by the LOPATICH-BRINKER FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe.
