Louis "Lou" Pomposelli, 67, of Delmont, Murrysville and Penn Hills, died Thursday, March 11, 2021. He passed peacefully in his home to rejoin the love of his life, Lori "Mimi" (Lawson) Pomposelli. The family and everyone who knew Lou and Lori take great comfort in knowing that the two are at peace, back together again, as they were always meant to be. Lou was born March 16, 1953, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Louis F. and Margaret (Comer) Pomposelli, of Penn Hills. In addition to his parents and beloved wife, he was preceding in death by many of his immediate Pomposelli family members, including his Uncle Dominick "Coochie" Pomposelli. Prior to retiring, Lou worked as a railroad technician with Edgewater Steel, Oakmont, and as a local mechanic in the Murrysville area. He was also a long-time member of Sardis Firehall, where he served briefly as Chief in the 1980s. Lou will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. He is survived by his two daughters, Kate Davis, of Delmont, and Maria Alton and her husband, Bryan, of Penn Hills; his sister, Lydia Cline, of Export; and the Lawson, Ludovici and Jacobs families. He was the very proud and loving "Pappy" to his three grandchildren, Emma Lynn, Liam Reign and Saoirse Eire, whom he loved with all of his heart.
