Michael J. Desmuke

Michael J. Desmuke peacefully passed Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, at the age of 69. Michael was the loving father of Stephen (Brenda) Stoughton, Scott (Amy) Stoughton and Dawn Zolman; and adoring grandfather of Kaitlyn, Danny, Hannah, Brandon, Zachary and Shawn. He is also survived by his sister, Sharon Doorley, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in passing by his parents, Joseph and Teresa (Nozzolillo) Desmuke, and his beloved longtime companion, Carol Stoughton. Michael was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran and served during the Vietnam War. While serving, Michael was unfortunately wounded in action and was left disabled. He was a caring and generous man who would give you the shirt off his back. He also donated to local animal shelters. Michael enjoyed watching Star-Trek. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Michael will be laid to rest with military honors at Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville.
