Albert Parente Obituary

Albert D. Parente, 95, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Helen (Dimola) Parente; and loving father of Carol (Alvaro) Giron and the late Albert W. (surviving spouse, Diane) Parente. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Albert was preceded in death by two brothers; and two sisters. He worked with his father in the A. Parente and Sons Construction Co. and later was an inspector for the City of Pittsburgh, Department of Parks and Recreation. After retirement, he devoted his life to loving and nurturing his family. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL), corner of 445 Beatty Road and Route 48 North, Monroeville, (412-856-4747). Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10 a.m. Monday, in Mother of Sorrows Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. http://www.jobefuneralhome.com.
