Albert Richards Obituary

Albert E. Richards, 86, of North Versailles, died Wednesday, May 12, 2004, in Riverside Nursing Center, McKeesport. He was born June 6, 1917, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Albert and Pearl Wilcox Richards. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired employee of Conrail with 40 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy V. Richards, in 1997. He is survived by two sons, Pastor Albert E. Richards and his wife, Linda, of Brook Park, Ohio, and James W. Richards and his wife, Michelle "Shelly" Richards, of East McKeesport; a daughter, Harriet J. Chopich and her husband, Ted, of Penn; and six grandchildren. Friends will be received at the JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 602 Seventh St. (Route 130), Trafford, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. Graveside services will follow in Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville, with Pastor Kenneth Brougham officiating.
