Roy W.G. Biddle Jr., 90, of Marshall Township, passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, while under the care of UPMC Passavant, in McCandless Township. Born May 6, 1921, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Roy W.G. Biddle Sr. and Florence Elizabeth (Klages) Biddle. Roy was a 1944 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, a member of Sigma Beta Sigma, and was the proud owner of Biddle Engineering Company. He also served as the supervisor for Marshall Township for one term and was a volunteer fireman. Roy had a great love for airplanes and was a member of the Silver Eagle Model Airplane Group and the Model Airplane Radio Control Society. In addition, he had a love for dogs and watching hummingbirds. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. He is survived by his three loving children, Craig Biddle and his wife, Barbara, of Denver, Colo., Claudia Soissong and her husband, William, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Keith Biddle, of Seven Fields; three stepchildren, Jack Ramsey, of Marshall Township, Donna Ricketts, of New Castle, and Robert Ramsey, of New Castle; two loving grandchildren, Corinne Soissong and Daryl Soissong; two precious great-grandchildren, Everlee Craddock and Daena Eib; and his brother, George Biddle, of Pittsburgh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Elina T. Biddle and Dorothy J. Biddle; and his daughter-in-law, Sandy Ramsey. Roy's family will welcome friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 6 until the time of funeral services at 8 p.m. Friday at the GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME INC., 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.
