Scott Williams Obituary

Scott A. "Scotty" Williams, 59, of Monroeville, passed away peacefully among family and friends, after a prolonged battle with cancer, on Friday, July 26, 2024. Scott earned a bachelor's degree from Edinboro University in Criminal Justice. He was a community leader and inspiration to many. He coached and served as President of the Pitcairn Baseball Association for many years; 22 years on the Gateway School Board and nine years at Forbes Road Career and Technology Center School Board. He was a friend to everyone he met. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank C. and Elaine F. Williams. Brother of Robert (Dianna) Williams, Stephanie (Gary) Raucci, Stacey (Bill) Versaw and Doug (the late Carol) Williams; uncle of Daniel Williams, Michael Raucci and Joseph (Rachael) Raucci. Friends received, Monday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES, LTD.,7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road), Penn Hills, where a Service will be held, Tuesday, 11 a.m.
