Benjamin Lubinsky Obituary

Benjamin W. Lubinsky, 54, of Irwin, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 20, 2015, after a day at the park with his wife and daughters. He was born June 8, 1960, in Jeannette, a son of the late Benny and Emma (Giron) Lubinsky. Benjamin was a self-employed consultant. He was a 1978 graduate of Hempfield High School and a 1996 graduate of Duquesne University. Ben was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Irwin and he was also an avid sports fan. Surviving are his wife, Lori (Kerr) Lubinsky; two daughters, Lauren and Taylor Lubinsky, both, of Irwin; sister Rebecca (Hohman) Keys and husband, Larry, of Latrobe; brother, Daniel Lubinsky, of Wendell; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clark and Mitzi Kerr, of Irwin; brother-in-law, Clark Kerr Jr. and wife, Judy, of North Huntingdon; and nieces, nephews and close friends. Friends will be received 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin. Parting prayers will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home follow by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church.
