Charles Welch Obituary

Charles H. Welch, 78, of Harrison City, died on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, at AHN Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. He was born on Nov. 28, 1946, in Mt. Union, to the late Charles and Shirley (Bilger) Welch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce (Antoniak) Welch. Charles retired as a storeroom manager for Westmoreland County. Charles is survived by his beloved spouse, Connie (Whisner) Welch; children, Audrey Ewing-Prout, Carrie Richardson, Melinda (Rick) Hacker, and Randy "Skip"(Lisa Keaton) H. Welch; and grandchildren, Allison, Brianna, Lauren, Mathias, and Noelle. Charles was in various country western and gospel bands opening for several major country stars. Family and friends are invited to a memorial celebration of Charles's life at 10 a.m. where a luncheon will follow at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at Jeannette Assembly of God.
