Curtis Perkins Obituary

Curtis Perkins, of Hiram, Ohio, died Thursday, July 22, 2010, in Cleveland. He was born Nov. 18, 1962, in Greensburg, a son of Ron and Judy Perkins. He was a graduate of Hempfield Area High School, attended Ohio University for two years and graduated with highest honors from the University of Pittsburgh. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Dr. Alisa Taddeo, and their children, Max, Leah and Gus, all at home. Also surviving are his sisters, Melissa Dalansky and her husband, Gary, and Amy Perkins; nephews, Paul and Michael Dalansky; and grandmother, Norma Perkins, all of Greensburg; as well as his father-in-law, Al Taddeo; and brother-in-law, John Taddeo and his wife, Darla; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kaye and Betty Goodlin, and John Perkins; and mother-in-law, Loretta Gatins. Visitation and services were held in Independence, Ohio, and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME. Since Curtis was an avid reader and animal lover, donations in his memory may be made to the Library Memorial Fund of the First Presbyterian Church, PO Box 1038, Greensburg, PA 15601 or the Humane Society of Westmoreland County, PO Box 1552, Greensburg, PA 15601.
