Daniel Morelli Obituary

Daniel G. Morelli, 34, of Greensburg, died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at his home. He was born Oct. 4, 1970, in Munich, Germany, a son of Daniel N. Jr. and Linda R. (Workman) Morelli, of Greensburg. He had been employed by the U.S. Postal Service as postmaster in Youngstown, Pa. He was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, South Greensburg, and the National Association of Postmasters, United States. He had been an assistant baseball coach for the Fort Allen Baseball Association. Dan enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and spending time with his children and family. He will be greatly missed by his family. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Daniel N. Morelli Sr., and maternal grandmother, Clara M. Workman. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Rachele M. (Houser) Morelli; their sons, Michael W. and Jonathan D. Morelli, at home; a brother, Jeffrey W. Morelli, of Greensburg; a nephew, Antonio Morelli; paternal grandmother, Anne M. (DiPietro) Morelli; maternal grandfather, George W. Workman; an uncle, Ronald P. Morelli; an aunt, Darla, and Fred Klein, all of Greensburg; and cousins, Lisa (Sean) Stipp, of Greensburg, and Lori Klein, of Aspen, Colo. There will be no public visitation. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Morelli Children's Education Fund, c/o 5th Third Bank, 707 Grant St., Pittsburgh, PA 15219. Arrangements by BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg.
