Eugene Menozzi Obituary

Eugene A. Menozzi, 59, of Belle Vernon, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011. A son of the late Nello and Stella Moscow Menozzi, he was born Dec. 2, 1951, in Pittsburgh. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 23 years, he served in the Marines during the Vietnam Era was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family. Eugene was also an avid Penguins hockey fan, a hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his wife, Lisa M. Menozzi, with whom he would have celebrated 23 years of marriage on July 9, 2011; one son, Anthony Menozzi and his fiancee, Katrina Libengood, of Charleroi; one sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Raymond Lenzi, of Maryland; one brother, Daniel Menozzi, of Bethel Park; two grandchildren, Angelo and Cameron; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Linda and Dennis Glasser, of Belle Vernon; one sister-in-law, Laurie Rushford, of Washington, Pa.; and one brother-in-law, Dennis Glasser, of Fayette City. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300. A blessing service will be held at noon Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick officiating. www.fergusonfuneralhomeandcrematory.com.
