James E. Stack

1959 - 2016

James Edward Stack, 57, of Greensburg, passed away Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, in the Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg. Jim was born June 1, 1959, in North Charleroi, the son of Edward and Norma Stech Stack, of Speers Hill. Jim was a graduate of Charleroi High School in the class of 1977, graduated from Washington & Jefferson College in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and graduated from Duquesne University in 1997 receiving his Master of Arts in leadership and liberal studies. He retired from Procter and Gamble Co. as a pharmaceutical representative. Jim was Catholic by faith and an avid Steelers fan. In addition to his parents, Jim is survived by his wife, Mary Ann DelBusso Stack, of Greensburg; his sister, Barbara Grimes and husband, Joe, of Mason, Ohio; a niece, Brianna Grimes; a nephew, Joseph Grimes; an aunt, Catherine Stack, of Charleroi; and a uncle, John C. Stech, of Melbourne, Fla.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, in Mary, Mother of the Church, Seventh and Washington Avenue, Charleroi, celebrated by the Rev. Gerald Mikonis.
