Janet M. (Citterberg) Bubash, 81, of Natrona, passed away at home with family at her side on Monday, May 5, 2025. Born on Dec. 8, 1943, in Natrona, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Irene (Bilinski) Citterberg. Janet was a Class of 1961 Har-Brack High School graduate. She worked as a bookkeeper at the former Keystone Bank in Lower Burrell. She was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Natrona Heights Campus, and the former St. Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church. Janet enjoyed making home-cooked Sunday dinners for her family and loved spending time with them. She was an avid reader, liked to solve crossword puzzles, and was a talented seamstress. Survivors include her daughters, Dana Bubash (Laura Banda) of Brackenridge, Kristen Bubash of Tarentum, and Jaclyn Bubash (fiance, Sean Waterloo) of Natrona; three grandsons, Braedon Paz, Britton Waterloo, and Kaleb Waterloo; her granddaughter, Lana Irene; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Robert B. Bubash, who passed away on Jan. 12, 2018; her sister, Susan Chapman; and her brothers, Ronald Citterberg, Richard Citterberg, and John Bilinski. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m., on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the PAUL R. AJAK FUNERAL HOME INC., 2 Pine St. and River Avenue, Natrona, where a parting prayer will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 800 Montana Avenue, Natrona Heights, PA 15065. Burial in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township.
