Jennie R. Fink

1924 - 2023

Jennie R. (Poole) Fink, 98, of Ruffsdale, passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2023, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Jennie was born Feb. 11, 1924, in East Huntingdon Township, the daughter of the late Elmer W. and Ruth Love Poole. Jennie attended East Huntingdon High School and was formerly employed as a nurse's aide and a hostess at Howard Johnson's. She was a very caring and hardworking person who enjoyed working in her garden. Surviving are her daughters, Carol Slingluff, of Youngwood, and Connie Mozina, of Irwin; grandchildren, Todd Slingluff (Tammy), Joshua Slingluff (Dianna), Amber Wasko (Billy) and Stacey Bauerle (Bill); great-grandchildren, Angelina, Nicole and Emily Wasko and Kameron Bauerle; and also nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jennie was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford S. Fink, and siblings, Frances E. Keslar and Gerald H. Poole. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at SLATER-REGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 730 W. Main St., Mt. Pleasant, where services will be held at 2:30 p.m. followed by interment in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Tarrs.
