Joyce M. (Leeper) Murray, 75, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, March 17, 2021. She was born Nov. 23, 1945 in Mammoth, a daughter of the late William Rayburn and Janet Laverne (Marks) Leeper. She was a Hurst High School graduate, Class of 1963, and a Pittsburgh Beauty Academy graduate, Class of 1978. Joyce owned and operated Joyce's Hair Fashions for approximately 25 years before moving into the retail business and spending her retirement years in Sarasota, Fla. She was a member of multiple organizations, some of which she served on the ladies' auxiliaries. She was an avid reader and loved to travel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her friend and companion, Michael F. Konstanty; and her granddaughter, Candace (Demorest) Cohen. She is survived by her five children, Crystal (Doug) Stone, Diane (Kris) Demorest, Lisa (Doug) Baker, Frank D. Kovatch and Brandi Beeman; nine grandchildren, Jacklyn Sinemus, Gabby (Zakk) Breegle, Frank (Kayla) Kovatch Jr., Cody Kern, Jennifer (Sean) Flaherty, Kris Demorest Jr., David Demorest, Chevelle Kovatch, and Mayah Beeman; nine great-grandchildren, Lexie Fry, Madalynn Sinemus, Bailey, Leeland and Sophie Breegle, and Jesse, Mayson, Colton and Easton Kovatch; four sisters, Lelonie Dombrosky, Karen Nicholson, Wanda Ritenour, and Kathy Leeper; two brothers, Melvin Leeper and Ken Leeper; and several nieces and nephews. Honoring Joyce's wishes, there will be no public visitation. A Private interment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Martin Ankrum. LEO M.
