Kenneth L. Primus

1939 - 2022

Kenneth L. Primus, 83, of Irwin, died peacefully at home Friday, Sept. 30, 2022. He was born Feb. 9, 1939, in Jeannette, a son of the late Richard and Margaret (Russman) Primus. Prior to retirement, he was a parts specialist for Beckwith Machinery and he was a veteran of the Army Reserve. Ken was a member of West Hempfield Presbyterian Church, a charter member of Rescue 14 EMS, loved sports especially basketball and was an avid Steelers and Penguins fan and outdoorsman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Primus and Theodore Kreinbrook; a sister, Kathleen Stutz; and an infant sister, Gladys. He is survived by his wife, Connie (Hegland) Primus; his two daughters, Michele Stanley (Bob), of Youngwood, and Sheri Robinson (Scott), of North Huntingdon; four grandchildren, Ryan Stanley, Jared Stanley (Adam), Lindsey Robinson and Josh Robinson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette. Funeral service and interment are private.
