Lucy M. Fulcher

Lucy Mae Fulcher, 94, of Murrysville, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Brookdale Murrysville Senior Living. She was born June 3, 1929, in Newark, NJ, daughter of the late Pasquale and Teresa (Giordano) Chiarella. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Alfred Fulcher; a son, John K. Fulcher; a daughter-in-law, Jean Fulcher; a sister and brother-in-law, Philomena and Irving Berman; a sister-in-law, Barbara Chiarella; and a granddaughter, Alisa Fulcher. In her younger years, she was a telephone operator and supervisor. As her children grew up, she was a playground monitor at Sloan Elementary. Lucy enjoyed reading and listening to music. She was a member of Mother of Sorrows Parish. Lucy will be missed by three children, Richard A. (Pat) Fulcher of Charleston, WV, Mark R. (Lina) Fulcher of South Elgin, IL, Mary Lou (Steve) Focht of Tumwater, WA; daughter-in-law, Becky Fulcher (John) of Findlay, OH; 13 grandchildren, two step grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor Carroll; and brother, Daniel Chiarella.
