Marlene E. DeBlasio

Marlene E. DeBlasio Winschel, 81, of Arnold, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born in Harrison Township on April 24, 1943, to the late Vincent James and Mae C. Yasavich DeBlasio and had been a lifelong resident of the local area. She was a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa, St. Joseph, and attended Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Churches. She worked as a second-grade teacher for Center Elementary in Plum for 30 years. She enjoyed line dancing at Puckety Church and New Kensington Sr. Center and traveling across the United States and internationally. She is survived by her brother, Eugene V. (Rhonda) DeBlasio of Lower Burrell; and nieces and nephews, Michelle (Chris) Burns and Anthony (Nikki) DeBlasio. Friends will be received Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at THE RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder St., where Prayers of Transfer will be said Friday, at 9:30 a.m., followed by Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., in Mt.
