Michael F. Goodwin

Michael F. Goodwin of Greensburg passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Aug. 13, 2025. He was born on June 17, 1947, son of the late Ray and Ruth Goodwin. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Beth L. Goodwin; two sons, Daniel (Jessica) and Kevin (Tiffany) Goodwin; and two grandsons, Grayson and Brayden Goodwin. In addition, he is survived by his two brothers, Larry (Cathy) and Dennis (Diane) Goodwin; and his sister, Karen (Allen) Clark. He graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School, near Philadelphia, and later St. Francis University, in Loretto, with a degree in education. He initially was employed as an insurance adjuster, and later formed his own company, Goodwin-Ferguson & Associates. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church. While family and friends were his priority, golf was his treasured free-time companion. He was further passionate about traveling and ballroom dancing. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, at BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 East Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601. A liturgy service, outside of Mass, will be held at noon Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, in the funeral home chapel, with Fr. Ken Zaccagnini officiating.
