Nancy L. Kriss

Nancy L. (Grabb) Kriss, 73, of Irwin, died Monday, July 5, 2021, at UPMC East, Monroeville. She was born Feb. 9, 1948, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Wrought) Grabb. Nancy retired as a food service director, working for both Aramark Corp. and Excela Health. She was a 1966 Norwin High School graduate. Nancy was a kind and creative person. She was loyal to her friends and was especially devoted to her family, mainly her granddaughter. She enjoyed cooking, roller skating, music and dancing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Grabb, and a sister, Lois Caldwell. Surviving is her husband of 48 years, Richard P. "Rick" Kriss, a daughter, Kelly Kriss Gayarski and her husband, Gregory, of Virginia Beach, Va.; granddaughter, Emma Gayarski; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. At Nancy's request, there will be no viewing or services. A celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
