David K. Thompson, 68, of Sarver, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at his home. Born Nov. 17, 1956, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Raymond Thompson and Dorothy (Stormer) Thompson. Dave was a life-long farmer and had been a truck driver for Tesone Trucking and W.L. Roenigk. He enjoyed woodworking. Surviving are his brother, Donald Thompson of Sarver; his sister, Doris (Richard) Kirkner of Kittanning; three neices, Theresa (Tony) Marianna, Rebecca Kelly and Angela (Doug) McMillen; his great-uncle, William Stormer; and his good friend and caregiver, Darlene Vogel. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol Thompson; and one son, Karl Thompson. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., on Friday, May 16, 2025, at FOX FUNERAL HOME INC., Saxonburg, PA. Services will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Fox Funeral Home Inc., Saxonburg, PA, with Rev. Robin Swinsburg officiating.
