Dustin D. Walker, 30, of Charlotte, N.C., formerly of Washington Township, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at home, due to natural causes. He was born Jan. 5, 1988, in Natrona Heights, the beloved son of Lyle and Linda (Urick) Walker, of Apollo. Dustin was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend. The time he spent with his family and friends was most important to him. Dustin loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and hiking, and he especially loved playing soccer. He was employed as a sales rep. Dustin will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his devoted parents, Lyle and Linda; sister, Erica Tomlinson, her husband, Jacob, and their sons, Dylan and Cody Tomlinson, of Wellsboro; grandparents, Walter and Thelma Urick and Gene and Jean Walker, all of Apollo; amazing family and many special friends.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, 724-468-1177. Funeral services for Dustin will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Ron Raptosh, of Faith United Methodist Church, Delmont, officiating. Interment in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, will follow.
