Elizabeth J. Freilino

Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Freilino, 86, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Mercy Hospital with her loving husband and soulmate of 56 years, Ray S. Freilino, at her side. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Mathilda Schnupp, and by sister, Theresa Lawson (Al) and brothers, William (Ruth) and Howard (Tina) Schnupp. Surviving is a daughter, Mary Jane Nault; and many nieces and nephews. Betty worked hard and in many capacities all of her life and at the age of 50 trained for and graduated as a licensed practical nurse and worked for many years at the then South Side Hospital. Betty had an innate work ethic and love of cleanliness and maintaining our home to her meant cleaning bath and kitchen floors by self imposed scrubbing on hands and knees. Her lovely character was gentle and thoughtful, patient and kind, giving and generous, and gifted with the special wisdom and insight of the honest and sincere. She is sorely and inexpressively missed.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the services at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016, at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. Entombment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park.
