Elmer Leroy Cox, 77, of Cabot, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at Sugar Creek Rest. Born March 6, 1940, in New Kensington, he was the son of the late Ezra and Blanche Cox. Elmer was a Marine. He worked as a truck driver for In Way Trucking. He enjoying hunting, fishing and gambling. Surviving are his loving wife, Muriel (Kindler) Cox, of Cabot; daughter, Wendy (Doug) Richard, of Sarver; and grandsons, Nicholas and Cory Richard, both of Sarver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, John Cox, Bill Cox and Alice Roberts.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2017, at the FOX FUNERAL HOME INC., 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, New Kensington.
