She was born Dec. 3, 1918, to Norman and Irene Ray of Bethel. Mrs. Boyd was a 35-year resident of Downey, Calif., prior to entering the Royal Court Assisted Care Facility several years ago.
She enjoyed time with her family, music, playing cards and watching television.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. John (Nancy) Mesmer, Houston, Texas; two sons, Larry A. Boyd, Yucaipa, Calif., and Dr. Donald W. Boyd of Downey. She also is survived by three brothers, Edwin Ray, Harold Ray and Jack Ray of Leechburg; and two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Waddell and Mrs. Paul (Marilyn) Virostek, also of Leechburg. There are also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews surviving.
She was preceded in death by her parents, along with two brothers, Robert Ray and Alan Dale Ray; and two sisters, Mrs. Pete (Edith) George and Mrs. Louis (Jean) Egly.
