Loretta E. Ryznar

1935 - 2021

Loretta E. (Drozd) Ryznar, 86, of Niles, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights. She was born June 28, 1935, in Leechburg, a daughter of the late Walter Drozd and Helen (Kroll) Drozd. Loretta was a graduate of Freeport Area High School. She had been employed in the accounting department at Trumbull Bank before retirement. She was a member of St. Stephen's Church in Niles, Ohio. Loretta enjoyed listening to polkas, shopping, decorating for the holidays and daily feeding birds and squirrels in her yard. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Patricia Drozd, of Allegheny Township; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Frank A. Ryznar, in 2003; her brother, Walter A. Drozd; sisters, Adele Lewandowski, Dolores Olterman and Christine Kosmalski; and brothers-in-law, Ben Lewandowski and Stephan S. Kosmalski. Friends will be welcomed by her family from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, at CLAWSON FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTER, 170 Main St., Leechburg (724-842-1051). Parting prayers of transfer will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, at the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, 125 Park Road, Gilpin Township, with the Rev.
