Nancy C. Cline

Nancy C. (Reitler) Cline, 79, of Hellertown, Pa., and Natrona Heights, died peacefully Monday, May 9, 2016, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was born in Ford City, the daughter of the late William and Mary-Louise Reitler. Nancy graduated from Har-Brack High School (Natrona Heights) in 1954 and was a proud 1958 Ohio State University graduate. She was married to late James S. Cline from 1958 to 1981. She was employed in various capacities in the retail industry. She loved people and animals. She was an accomplished PA realtor (Howard Hanna and Valley Associates) and prize-winning dairy goat farmer. She was an active member of the John Birch Society. Her passion to educate her fellow Americans on "Less government, more responsibility, and with God's help - a better world" were unparalleled. Her sense of humor was a bright spot in her extended illness. She cared for and educated others, while they were caring for her. Nancy is survived by her children, Lynn Cline, of Nashua, N.H., and son, J. Scott Cline and daughter-in-law, Debra, of Hellertown, Pa.; brother, William Reitler and sister-in-law, Gail, of Natrona Heights; and brother, Charles Reitler and sister-in-law, Sherry, of Avon Park, Fla. Nancy has four grandchildren, Angela Herbst, James Cline, Jillian and Justin Cline. She is survived by three great-grandchildren, Sarah Herbst, Kaya and Josie Nichols. She has many nieces and nephews, including grandniece and nephew, Addison and Mason Valencic.
Nancy's wishes were for no funeral services. She has donated her body through The Humanities Gifts Registry to The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Here she has given the ultimate gift, of furthering the knowledge of medical professionals. Her family will host a "Celebration of her Life" Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016 (her 80th birthday), at 1985 Chancellor St., Hellertown, Pa. An open house will be held at 2 p.m. RSVP scline3636@aol.com.
