Nicholas R. Galore

1942 - 2016

Nicholas R. Galore, 73, of Washington Township, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 6, 2016, at his residence, with his family by his side. He was born July 20, 1942, in Harmarville, to the late Samuel and Nancy Galore. Nick retired from the former Rob Roy Industries, Verona, as a welder. He loved working outdoors and in his garage. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Nicky and Matthew. He was the beloved husband of Judy (Roup) Galore of 45 years; dear father of Larry (Shannon) Galore, of South Hills, Susan (Jay) Richard, of Apollo, Tina (Mike) Mehler and Kathy Galore, both of Murrysville, and Linda (Noel) Howlett, of Longview, Texas; and brother of Anthony Galore, of Ross Township, Samuel (Doris) Galore, of Hampton, Ronald (Beverly) Galore, of Harmarville, and Terry (late John) Profozich, of Ross Township. He is survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who meant everything to him.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, in United Presbyterian Church, 656 State Route 380, Murrysville, PA 15668, with Pastor Derek Campbell officiating. Interment will be private.
