Nicholas Welc

Nicholas R. Welc, 34, of Mount Pleasant, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025. Nicholas was born June 30, 1990, in Jeannette. Nick was a graduate of Connellsville Area High School, class of 2008. He most recently worked at Dave and Buster's as a server in Myrtle Beach. Nick enjoyed going to the beach, watching the sunrise and sunset, listening to music, and snowboarding. He also loved receiving letters, writing notes to all his friends and family, and spending time with his doggie nieces, Reese & Rayne. Nicholas is survived by his loving family, his mother, Dori Kelly Hauer; and his stepfather, Troy; his sister, Allison Hauer; his maternal grandmother, Grace Kelly; and his aunts and uncles, William Kelly Sr., Lori Dropik, and Colleen Kelly. He is also survived by his father, Robert W. Welc Jr.; his paternal grandparents, Robert W. Welc Sr. and Mary Ann Welc 'Maw'; his aunt, Lynn Bungard (Jim); and by numerous extended family. Nick was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Patrick Kelly; and his aunt, Kerri Ann Welc. Family and friends will be received from 1 p.m. until the hour his funeral service at 6 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, at GALONE-CARUSO FUNERAL HOME, INC., Mount Pleasant, with Rev.
