When I first met Phil at Nucor he was a little quiet sort of like he didn't want to get to know me but as time went on and we worked together some all that changed. All I had to do to have a nice long conversation with Phil was ask if he had any nice bucks on camera and I couldn't wait to see his reaction it was like a switch came on and it would be on for an hour. He was a smart electrician and I learned a lot of stuff working with him over the years and I feel like I'm a better person because I knew him and I'm devastated that he's gone! My prayers go out to his family God bless yall!

Phil you will be missed! Our talks of Penn State football and the insight you brought were second to none. Never did Phil give up on figuring out a solution to a problem and keep us running! Every time I come by a bolt to tight to loosen, I will think of you and smile! May you find peace as God has taking you into his arms!

I spent a lot of time with cousin Philip when we were children. Even though we didn't stay in touch as we got older, the fun times we had have always been good memories for me. His sense of humor was always a source of entertainment for us as kids. He'll be missed.

Phil was a dear friend and valued colleague whom I had the privilege of sharing several years with in the Navy. Together with Gary, we served our country and created countless memories while visiting many countries. Phil's passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers was unmatched, and he loved sharing the team’s history with everyone. His infectious smile and unique sense of humor brought joy to those around him. My heartfelt prayers go out to the Felgar family during this difficult time. Phil will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Phil was truly one of a kind. His contributions to the Nucor team's overall success and growth cannot even begin to be measured or understated. No matter how big or small the problem or certain challenge the team was facing, we could always count on Phil to navigate us out of trouble with his unparallel determination, curiosity, and humility. And the icing on the cake was his quick wit and dry sense of humor that left us all in stiches. Phil, God BLESS YOU, brother. You will sincerely be missed!

Remembering the first time I met Phil was in passing shortly after I started at Nucor. We walked by each other and I spoke to him just saying hello. Phil looked up at me, never breaking stride, and said nothing. He just kept walking. He was a hard nut to crack but eventually I did. We became friends over the next 20 years and I learned that he loved to hunt and he loved professional football. He was a walking history book of the NFL and could tell you names of players, what teams they played for, and just about every Super Bowl winner over the past 40 years. He was unique and special to us all. It was an honor to have known him and a privilege to have worked beside him. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

There are people that come in to our lives that make an impression that will never be forgotten nor would ever want to be forgotten. Phil was absolutely one of them. I have so many good memories with Phil at work and even more outside the gates. He was a great shift partner and teammate but more important, a great friend. His laugh, his stories, his telling stories through his laugh and then having to re-tell them so we could understand him, his iron clad memory and his ability to relate any scenario to a Seinfeld episode are a few of the things that made him enjoyable to be around and so very unique. You are missed and I have raised a glass to you my friend. I hope you have found peace, love you brother!

Phil and I worked together for several years at Nucor Berkeley. His unique sense of humor routinely made me smile and laugh when he would stop in to talk. I remember several times that I needed to turn to face him to figure out whether he was joking and to find a huge grin on his face. You will be missed.

I worked with Phil for many years, and I always enjoyed his company and looked forward to his entertaining conversation. He was always quick to lend a hand and was tenacious with what he did, making whatever task we had to do more enjoyable.
Phil, you brought humor and laughter to all those you met. You will be missed by those who knew you and remembered by those who didn't through the fond memories and stories of your friends. Be at peace.

Phil always made everyone laugh. His humor was effortless and his delivery was so unique to him. There´ll never be another like him, that´s for sure. On top of being so funny he worked hard. He was always quick to respond when we called for him and he did his job right. I feel truly blessed to have known him. Rest in peace, Phil.

Phil always had something to say to make you smile. That amazing dry wit that would stop you and make you look at him before that huge smile broke out on his face. Phil thank you for all the help that you were always willing to give and for making work more enjoyable . We’ll miss you, bud, but we will see you again. Praying for your family to find peace.

Phil was a great guy you could depend on to help you out of a jam and he made sure that what ever he worked on was done right.
He always made me laugh in the morning first thing trying to find just the right spot to park his truck. RIP my friend

Phil was not just an exceptional team member but a friend to many of us. He brought dedication, passion, and kindness to everything he did. Whether through his hard work or the way he lifted others' spirits, Phil made a lasting impact on all of us.
While his presence will be deeply missed, the memories and the example he set will remain in our hearts. Our thoughts are with Phil’s family during this difficult time. We will carry forward his legacy with respect and gratitude.
Rest in peace.

Phil, didn’t say much but the little he said was followed by laughter, resolved an issue, left some minds wondering because of it’s sarcastic tone or was just enough to make us say; that’s just Phil. Your wisdom, humor and honesty will be missed and always appreciated.

To the friends and family of Phil Felgar, I was terribly saddened to hear of his passing. I never did spend any time with Phil outside of work but at work he was always kind and pleasant with a side of sarcastic humor that you could not help but laugh along with and truly understand the point that he was trying to make.
One of the things I appreciated about Phil no matter how big or small the trouble call at work he would always show up and after the repairs made he always made time for a conversation and explanation afterward. We shared more than a few cups of coffee over the years and he will be sorely missed.
While today is the first day of my retirement I will always have a smile on my face when I think of Phil.

Phil brought light to every room with his quick wit and infectious laugh. His gift for seeing the world in unique ways never failed to spark thoughtful conversations, and his astonishing memory kept us all on our toes. As a friend and teammate, he was loyal, insightful, and forever ready with a clever remark. We’ll carry his spirit with us always, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

Phil Phill — oh it saddens me to hear of this— what a kind soul you are- if there is anything for certain I know you always left anyone in your path with a smile at minimum, most the time a good laugh!! Such a smart and humble human and I know for certain your presence will forever be missed — I am so grateful I had the opportunity to cross paths with you— I pray your soul is at peace
