Philip Pandolph III

1943 - 2025

Philip Pandolph III, 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in Henderson, NV, on June 3, 2025. He was born on July 31, 1943, in Jeannette, PA, to Gloria Pandolph (Andiorio) and Philip Pandolph Jr. He married Sandra Lee Stauffer in 1967, and they celebrated over 58 years together, living the majority of their lives in the Greensburg, PA, area and recently at Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, NV. Philip served in the U.S. Army in Alaska, was honorably discharged, and received honors as a sharpshooter. Philip worked for many years at the Volkswagen automotive plant in New Stanton, PA, and then retired from being a professional driver in 2008. During his retirement, he drove a school bus on a part-time basis, which he enjoyed tremendously. He enjoyed time with his family, yard work, sports, and playing the accordion. He also loved animals, especially his dog, Samuel. In addition to his loving wife, Sandra, of 58 years, he had one son, Philip E. Pandolph; and a grandson, Philip A. Pandolph. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Paul Keady; and his brother, Dominic Pandolph. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria and Philip. His mother and father-in-law, Gloria and Donald Stauffer; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
