Ronald Bowser Obituary

Ronald L. Bowser, 67, of Allegheny Township, passed away Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, in his residence. A son of the late Robert N. Bowser Sr. and Gwendolyn (Schantz) Bowser, he was born Jan. 4, 1954, in Natrona Heights. Ron was a general maintenance department employee at Penn State, New Kensington, for 24 years. He also worked for the Leechburg Furniture Company for 20 years, specializing in carpet installation and delivery service. He was a lover of classic cars and enjoyed working on them, as well as attending car shows. Ron also liked to work on his home in his spare time. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Mary Lou (Farster) Bowser, of Allegheny Township; two sons, Brad "Bart" Bowser (Stephanie Ward), of Leechburg, Josh Bowser (Elisabeth), of Allegheny Township; a daughter, Lisa Feeney (David), of Spring Church; a brother, Robert N. Bowser Jr., of Washington Township; sisters, Marlene Hackney (Jim), of Connellsville, and Karen Kridler (Jamie), of Columbus, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn M. Mago. The CLAWSON FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTER, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, has been entrusted with private funeral arrangements. Donations in Ronald's name may be made to an animal rescue of the donors' choice. Condolences to the Bowser family may be offered at www.clawsonfuneralhome.com.
