Willis E. "Bud" Keffer Jr., 82, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, in the Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born June 5, 1943, in Greensburg, a son of the late Willis E. Sr. and Alleen (Bach) Keffer. Bud was a graduate of the Penn Joint High School and a member of the school's 1961 WPIAL Champion Football Team. He was a Vietnam veteran, having served with the U.S. Navy. Prior to his retirement, Bud was a supervisor for the Elliott Co. in Jeannette. He was a member of the New Beginnings Baptist Church in Forbes Road. Bud liked the outdoors, gardening, hunting, and fishing; he owned a '38 Chevy and enjoyed classic cars and listening to the oldies. In addition to his parents, Bud was predeceased by a son, Joseph Bach Keffer. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Brenda Mains Keffer; a son, Steven Keffer and wife Julie, of Latrobe; daughters, Paula Etling of Derry, and Melissa McKee and husband Edward of Mt. Pleasant; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald Keffer of Harrison City, and Terry Keffer and wife Charla of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, in JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 North Second St., Jeannette. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeff Bingman officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery, Hempfield Township.
