Barbara Fields Obituary

Barbara J. Fields On August 24, 2011, Barbara made her peaceful journey into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, where she is now at rest. Barbara Jean Fields, the daughter of Maxie W. and Joyce M. Fields, Sr. was born Dec. 5, 1959 in Fort Benning, Georgia. She was the fourth of seven children born to Maxie and Joyce Fields. She was preceded in death by father Maxie Fields Sr. and her sister Melissa [Fields] Dawkins. She resided in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and was a valued employee of the Intel Corporation for 18 years. She is survived by her children Joshua and Cecilia Fields, her mother Joyce Fields, two sisters, Sharon [Gilmore] and Patricia [Fields], brothers Philip, Maxie Jr., and Michael [Fields], all of Tacoma, WA. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and associates. Her services will be held TODAY, September 2, 2011 at 1 pm in the Mountain View Garden Chapel, located at 4100 Steilacoom Blvd, Tacoma, WA 98499.
