Benjamin Franklin 'Frank' Davis October 8, 1949 - January 5, 2009 Frank Davis was born in West Hope, North Dakota on October 8, 1949. He died of cancer with his loving family at his side on January 5, 2009, at their home in Spokane, WA. Frank grew up in Tacoma, WA, where he graduated from Mt. Tahoma High School in 1968. Following high school, he served in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Fairchild A.F.B in Spokane. Frank spent his career as a Certified Dental Technician and owned and operated Dentex, Inc., a dental laboratory, until his recent retirement. He was a laboratory advisor with the Spokane Study Club and was past President of the Southeast Kiwanis Club. Frank married his high school sweetheart, Shelley (Parks) Davis, and is survived by her and their three sons, Scott Davis (Rachel) of Spokane, Eric Davis (Winnie) of Clayton, CA, and Mark Davis of Selah, WA. He is also survived by Scott and Rachel's three children, Burke, Tristan and Mikaela, all of Spokane; his three sisters, who affectionately referred to him as 'Son', Benedine Trip of Tacoma, WA, Cecelia Ball (Dave) of Orting, WA, and Connie Stauffer-Embras (Sam) of Dallas, TX; and his three half-sisters, LaVonne Elleson of Tukwila, WA, MaryLou Burgard (Bill) of Kamiah, ID, and Barbara Rasmussen (Rick) of Fremont, CA. Frank enjoyed classic cars, his children's sports, and time spent with his family at their lake cabin. He lived for his grandchildren. They'll always love 'Papa Frank'. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on January 17, 2009 at Christ Lutheran Church, 13009 E. Broadway Ave., Spokane, WA 99216. A private family interment will be held at Pines Cemetery in the spring. Donations in Frank's memory can be made to the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, 1004 E. 8th Ave., Spokane, WA 99202.

Shelley and Family:

I was so very sorry to hear about this news. I heard from Joyce (Whitehead) Miller. Her sister saw it in the Tacoma paper. I had hoped to see you at our class reunion as Fred Moisio was there and made it sound like you would be attending. Maybe Frank was even sick then? I am just so very sorry we lost touch. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family.
