BRIAN BOSCH Obituary

Brian Cory Bosch Brian Cory Bosch, left this life much too early at the age of 26 years old. He died on March 7th, 2015 in Billings, Montana. Brian was born on September 3rd, 1988 in Federal Way, Washington. Brian was a 2007 graduate of Auburn Riverside High School in Auburn, Washington, where he graduated with top honors. He went on to complete his Bachelor's degree in Diesel Technology at Montana State University-Northern, in Havre, Montana. Brian was a kind hearted, intelligent, hard working, and adventurous man. During his brief life he travelled extensively from Australia to Europe, and throughout most of the United States. Brian always had a fascination for how things operated. From a very young age he would study how and why things worked the way they did. He loved a challenge and could fix just about anything! He enjoyed and excelled in his career as a diesel technician at Torgerson's LLC. Brian had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, camping, participating in Montana State Search and Rescue, and four wheeling with his Jeep. Brian loved the solitude and peace of the mountains surrounding western Washington and he worked hard to preserve the natural beauty. He never went anywhere without a trash bag to clean up what others left behind. Brian later fell in love with the open plains and wheat fields of Montana permanently relocating to Montana in the fall of 2014. Brian is survived by his mother Norma J. Bosch (Stout) of Buckley, WA; his father Dan and his wife Stacey, along with sister Christina of Lake Tapps, WA; his maternal grandmother Jane Stout, Aunts Glenda (Ken) Koch, Carrie (Mike) Magette, of Meridian, ID; Uncle Mike (Jen) Stout, of Round Mountain, NV; paternal grandmother Shirley Bosch-Ward, of Gallatin, TN; Aunt Vicky Bosch, of Garmisch, Germany; Aunt Jean (Don) Burke and Uncle Glenn Bosch, of Racine, WI; Uncle Paul (Angie) Bosch, of Gallatin, TN; many cousins, and his beloved dog Dakota. Family will spread his ashes at the Kelly Butte fire lookout and have a celebration of Brian's life at a future date. To honor Brian's memory the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Brian Bosch/Torgerson's scholarship at Montana State University-Northern or the Washington Trails Association. http://www.wta.org/ Brian, you were a remarkable person and made us all proud. Your passion and love for the outdoors, and wide open spaces will always keep our hearts following the long road to see what lies beyond. We will love you always and in our hearts you will be forever young.

It has been 9 years since you left us. I will always love and miss you Son! Although the pain has subsided some it still hurts every day. There is a piece of my heart missing that can never be replaced. You were the best son ever and I loved being your mom. I hope that you are finding peace in heaven that you sought so hard to find here. I wish it were warmer weather so I could hike to Kelly Butte. I know your spirit is there as it was one of your favorite places. I remember all the fun we had helping to volunteer with the rebuild of the lookout. Your memory stone is still there. Will always love you and miss you eternally. Mom

A loss of this magnitude has no words to express the depth of my sorrow for the family.

I was lucky enough to have Brian as a fine, hard working, caring volunteer on the restoration of Kelly Butte Lookout. The world is indeed a poorer place without his can do attitude and willingness to forward the cause. His work remains at the lookout and his spirit will infuse anyone who has anything to do with that lookout. I saw him last fall as I was picking huckelberries at the lookout and he was eager to head to Montana, but he told me how much he appreciated working on the lookout. His zeal for life and projects was fantastic! We are all deprived now that he is gone but our good memories will keep him alive in our hearts

Brian you were a great nephew and always wrote the greatest thank you letters. Your last one will be saved forever. We won't foreget our hikes up the Salmon River and Rapid River and on the other side of the Salmon River from Riggins to the airport all near Riggins, Idaho. You were a great help to us with Aunt Velma's yard work and sorting bolts. You were a joy as a baby and as a young man watching you put legos together and playing with Hot Wheels. We tried to keep you in Hot Wheels on birthdays and at Christmas. We shall miss you forever, but know you are at peace and climbing moutains and hikihng trails with Dakota Doggie. Love you, miss you...Aunt Glenda and Uncle Ken Koch in Meridian, Idaho

I am still numb, young man. I have so many memories of your short life from your birth, your school photos, seeing you and your family walking on visits to Riggins (my Dad once commented "what is Norma feeding him, 'Grow-Pup?'" referring to how quickly you grew up). I still have your graduation cards, your thank you notes. I remember making a model of the Space Shuttle and bringing it to you in Auburn because you were so interested in space travel as a young boy; sharing my electronics correspondence books with you and you completing the courses months ahead of me at 10 years old. Such a bright, talented, sensitive man. Going to miss you and your Kota-dawg but I know you two are hiking the hills in heaven with no pain. Love ya kiddo - 'Aunt' Annette

We will forever cherish our memories of you, Brian - from the first time I held you as a baby, helping you hunt for rubies at Ruby Rapids and other exciting adventures in the mountains around Riggins, our rafting trip on the Salmon River, outsmarting the gps in our rental car when you and Mike went to the Mariners game, and in the last few years watching our sons become big fans of "Big Cousin Brian" and his really cool job at Torgerson's. You left a huge hole in our family, Brian; we are thankful for each and every memory of you that will hopefully help fill that void. Rest in Peace, Kiddo. Love Aunt Carrie, "N.U." Mike (inside joke), Nick, and Kellen

Such beautiful words for a wonderful, kind, generous loving man. Son to Norma and Dad. This world is a much better place because of your little boy.

Brian, I am so sorry you are gone. Little Gracie misses you and hung your kite in her room promising to never fly it so it will never be damaged. You were always so kind. I know you were sent here to spread the great message of love and kindness. I heard you, Rest now, enjoy the beauty and peace of heaven. Michelle Giles

Brian, you were my best friend! I love you and miss you. I can't believe you're gone. We had so many adventures together, from middle of the night trips to Oregon for VooDoo donuts, to my wedding in Vegas, to finding cabins in the middle of no where.. to wearing gorilla suits and making people laugh. Pumpkin patches. Road trips. The list goes on and beyond. I know you and Dakota are off on another adventure in Heaven! You are truly loved and missed Brian! =D Thank you for the honor of being your friend
